1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website or booking a safari with HalalWilderness, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Booking and Payment

2.1 Reservations

All bookings are subject to availability. A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit and written confirmation from HalalWilderness.

2.2 Deposits

A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due 60 days before the safari start date.

2.3 Payment Methods

We accept payment via bank transfer, credit card, and mobile money (M-Pesa). All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise stated.

3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 Cancellation by Guest

  • More than 60 days before departure: Deposit forfeited
  • 30-60 days before departure: 50% of total cost
  • Less than 30 days before departure: 100% of total cost

3.2 Cancellation by HalalWilderness

In the unlikely event we must cancel your safari, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.

4. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all guests. Your policy must cover medical expenses, evacuation, trip cancellation, and personal belongings. Proof of insurance is required before departure.

5. Health and Safety

5.1 Medical Requirements

Guests are responsible for obtaining necessary vaccinations and medications. We recommend consulting a travel health specialist at least 6 weeks before departure.

5.2 Physical Fitness

Some safari activities require a reasonable level of fitness. Please inform us of any medical conditions or mobility issues at the time of booking.

6. Halal Commitment

We are committed to providing halal-certified meals and prayer-friendly accommodations. While we work with trusted suppliers, we recommend guests with strict dietary requirements communicate their needs in advance.

7. Liability

7.1 Limitation of Liability

HalalWilderness acts as an agent for accommodation providers, transport operators, and activity suppliers. We are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or delay caused by third-party service providers.

7.2 Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, civil unrest, pandemics, or government restrictions.

8. Wildlife and Nature

Safari experiences involve wild animals in their natural habitat. While we prioritize your safety, wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed. Guests must follow guide instructions at all times.

9. Photography and Media

By joining our safaris, you consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be included, please inform us in writing before departure.

10. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify itineraries due to weather, road conditions, or unforeseen circumstances. Alternative arrangements of similar quality will be provided.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Arusha, Tanzania.
